Blues Pilgrimage
Join DJ5 and his musical colleague Rich as they curate a men's week in the Mississippi Delta. In this pilgrimage we visit important sites of Blues history, including museums, gravesites of Blues legends, and more. Pilgrims will also learn about the musicality of the Blues, and the harsh realities of the Jim Crow era that birthed the Blues. Evenings will include local cuisine and hearing lots of local music!
Jazz Pilgrimage
Join DJ5 for a curated week of music and culture in the birthplace of Jazz, New Orleans! Pilgrims will learn about the history of Jazz, its musicality, and how it gives us a model for living a more free and authentic life. The week will include local cuisine and of course, hearing lots of local music!
Asheville Music
Join DJ5 for a week of music education and exploration of the Asheville, NC music scene. Pilgrims will learn about Blues, Jazz, Soul, Funk, Gospel, and what these genres can teach us for our lives. The week will include conversations with local musicians, great food and beverages, and of course, hearing lots of local music!
